Nowadays music becomes common lifestyle in the world. We need music as a part of entertainment that make us happier. Beside that, there are international and traditional music in our society. Some people belief traditional music is more important than international music. In my opinion, as people said, traditional is the most important one.
The first reason is about traditional culture values. Several lesson like love, brotherhood, sense of awareness in environment become messages to the listener and singer. This music obviously is suitable with traditional culture because it emerge inside the culture. Sometimes, traditional people use this music in traditional ceremony, working time even singing alone for being happy.
The second reason is lack of international music messages. Actually we need not only good rhythm, but also good lyric which give us valuable message. Moreover, international music do not have sense about cultural approach in traditional people.
The third is protective action to protect our traditional cultures especially in music. Government is the main stakeholder to educate people for sustainability in traditional music. Traditional music have to be protected by youth people too in the country. They have to be proud for singing traditional music than international music.
Beside all reasons above, traditional music has to be developed in future. It is one way to sustain good values of traditional music to our children. Traditional music is our lifestyle and develop to be popular in our society.
In conclusion, there are three reasons why traditional music is important than international music. Traditional values, lack of international music messages and traditional music protection are main reasons. Finally traditional music is preparing for being popular in the future and become good lifestyle in our society.
